Making a relationship work is very dependant on you preventing it from going stale. A relationship will effectively go stale when it hits a plateau and both partners get bored. The excitement element needs to be kept up, as all relationships do go stale from time to time.
Think about activities that both you and your partner enjoy and make sure to do them at least once a week. For example, if you both like going to the gym make sure that you work out together once or twice a week. Or you may both like going out to eat, have one night a week where you visit a different restaurant.
Of course the gym option would be better, because then you are not tied to just one thing. Going to the movies once a week is another option. Weekends away once a month are also a good idea if your budget is a bit bigger. so its simple really – do more together and the chances of your relationship going stale greatly reduce.
A stale relationship example is as follows. You and your partner go to work during the day and then come home and sit in front of the TV every night. Often the woman is left with all the housework to do too as men normally stay away from it.
